Wadman Corporation receives Excellence in Construction awards

Wadman Corporation was recently awarded several “Excellence In Construction” awards by Associated Builders and Contractors during the their annual state convention at the Sheraton Hotel City Centre, in Salt Lake City.

Wadman received the category award for “Best Renovation, Remodel, and Interior” for their quality workmanship on the American Can historical renovation for the Amer Sports Complex. VanZeben Architecture and Lu~na Design Studio were also recognized as the two architectural firms on the winning project.  The project was also named “ABC Champion of the Year” for 2008. 

In addition to the awards won for best project, Wadman was honored by the Utah Labor Commission with a “Workplace Safety Award” for their commitment to safety management of all projects in 2007.  The award represents the sixth consecutive year that Wadman has been honored by the Labor Commission for their implementation of safe work practices in the workplace.

The “Excellence In Construction” competition is an annual forum hosted by ABC to recognize the outstanding projects of it’s Utah Chapter membership.   ABC represents more than 23,000 construction related firms throughout the United States.  In Utah, the organization represents more than 200 general and specialty contractors in the commercial and industrial construction industry.
