WADMAN EARNS INDUSTRY AWARDS Ogden – March 14, 2006 – Ogden based Wadman Corporation was the recipient of several industry awards given by the Utah chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors at the annual ABC State Convention recently held in Salt Lake City. Wadman was voted General Contractor of the Year by ABC membership for their contribution to the construction industry throughout the year. “It’s an honor for us to be recognized by our peers in an industry that includes many excellent construction firms,” said Chris Hipwell, director of marketing for Wadman Corporation. “We are honored to be included among the best in our industry”. Wadman was also awarded “Best Government and Institutional Project” for their outstanding performance on the historical renovation of the DaVinci Academy of the Science and the Arts charter school located in the historic American Can Building in Ogden. In addition, Wadman was awarded a Workplace Safety Award by the Utah Labor Commission for their continued excellence in workplace safety. This year’s award represents the third consecutive year that Wadman has been recognized by the Labor Commission for their commitment to a safe working environment for all employees.
