Panoramas: Great for familiarizing yourself with the site and the surrounding area.
Drone Map: This is basically an up to date google map, only better. Much higher resolution, and includes elevation and distance data. You can make meausrments, get volumes of stockpiles, and view 3D models. If you want to play around on your own, create an account and I will share the survey with you.
Wadman Drone Services
Wadman employs three full-time FAA part 107 UAS remote pilot that operates the latest DJI drones enabling us to provide many unique services in house. Depending on the airspace your project lies in, most services can be provided with turnaround times as short as 1-2 days.
Orthomosaics
By flying your site and taking hundreds of geolocated pictures with sufficient overlap we are able to create georeferenced, orthorectified maps. The benefit to you is an interactive map with resolutions up to 2cm/pixel that enable you to take measurements, see elevations, and get volumes of stockpiles thus saving hours of walking a site and getting more actionable information.
Terrain Models
When we generate the orthomosaics we also get accurate topographic modeling. This enables you to quickly see the contours of a site and make quality decisions on your design.
3D Models
Our process also creates detailed, accurate 3D models and point clouds. These can be exported as OBJ or LAS files for use in your current BIM process.
Construction Photos and Progress Videos
On top of using the orthomosaics at regular intervals to keep tabs on construction progress, we produce high-quality photographs and videos to document the process. We also edit the videos and time them with music so they can serve the dual purpose of marketing material.
Monumental Event: Live Social Broadcast
Placing your last beam, topping off your building, having a grand opening; if you want to share these events on your social media we can help with live aerial broadcasts on YouTube or Facebook.
