Wadman Corporation and Team will surprise not one but two deserving families in the greater Ogden area with an extreme home makeover in one week as part of the Emmy award-winning reality TV show, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.”
Wadman Corporation was chosen as the contractor for this “Extreme” build due to its reputation for involvement in the community. Wadman Corporation will be responsible for overseeing the project’s construction and has partnered with Visit Ogden to help with event management and the Goal Foundation to help coordinate the volunteer effort.
“Wadman Corporation has a strong history of community involvement, although it is typically without the public being made aware. The reality is, that we are going to need strong community help to complete two projects of this magnitude; building one home in a week is a huge undertaking but building two homes is an awesome task and we wanted to let the public know because we will definitely need their support.” Said, Dave Hogan president of Wadman Corporation.
“When the producers of ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’ called us, there was no doubt we were willing to take on the challenge of organizing the building of two new homes in one week for two deserving families,” Hogan continued.
Several finalists within the Ogden Area community are being considered for the build, all of whom have been deemed to be a worthy cause and have the need. Sometime during the second and third weeks in August, one lucky group will be surprised by Jesse Tyler Ferguson, the show’s new host, and the design team when they hear a knock at their door.
“Wadman Corporation’s ability to execute two projects of this size was clear to us, as was their passion and desire to give back to the community,” said Executive Producer Brady Connell.
Television’s highest-rated home renovation series of all time—Extreme Makeover: Home Edition—is coming to HGTV, with the network planning to produce 10 fresh episodes expected to premiere in early 2020. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will be available on demand across all authenticated platforms and on the HGTV app.
The HGTV episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will be produced by Endemol Shine North America with Sharon Levy and DJ Nurre serving as executive producers. The company also produced the original version of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition for ABC.
