Thursday stakeholders and the community gathered for the cutting of the red ribbon for the beautiful addition to Utah School for the Deaf and the Blind's Salt Lake Campus on 3300 South.  Our team consisting of; Chad Venable, Tyler Shupe, and Ben Saunders worked with David McKay from DFCM and Jacoby Architects on this cutting edge facility.

Dave Hogan, President of Ogden- based Wadman Corporation, was installed as the chapter’s 2016 Chairman at the Installation Banquet on January 23. Hogan was passed the gavel by 2015 Chairman Jeff Clyde, President of Springville-based W.W. Clyde & Co. and expressed gratitude to Clyde and other industry leaders at the opportunity to serve the approximately 500-member chapter.

The Payson Temple in South Utah County is a testament to the talents of both designers and artisans who collaborated to produce an exquisite piece of architecture. Interior and exterior design elements are ornate, and were very carefully chosen.

For this years service project we were spread out all over the county.  We utilized our new construction communication tool FieldLens.  Everybody received all direction and tasks right on their mobil phones.  The project managers could track all the progress happening at the four worksites in real time.

Jackson Hole Airport Renovation and Expansion Awarded 2014 AIA Institute Honor Award

Gensler Architecture and Design was awarded the 2014 American Institute of Architects (“AIA”) Institute Honor Award for the The Jackson Hole Airport Renovation and Expansion. Wadman Corporation was the General Contractor for this Phase of work on the Airport. The Honor Award is a National award from the AIA. There were over 500 international entries by many of the best architects in the world.

On Friday, October 25, 2013, The Salt Lake City Library System broke ground on the new Glendale Branch library. Wadman Corporation is the General Contractor and will build the library over the next year.

Builder to be honored for work

The chamber will present Wadman with the award on Feb. 4 at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center during its 94th annual dinner. The award has been given for 32 years to individuals who have made a significant impact in the Ogden and Weber County area. Some of the past recipients include Willard Eccles, Donnell and Elizabeth Stewart, Rich and Jane Brewer, Len Allen and Ed Kleyn.

YCC Extreme Makeover

This years leadership conference service project was the extreme makeover of the transitional housing at Your Community Connection in Ogden.  There are nine apartments at the YCC that domestic violence survivors use to get back on their feet and they were in need of some TLC.
