On Friday, October 25, 2013, The Salt Lake City Library System broke ground on the new Glendale Branch library. Wadman Corporation is the General Contractor and will build the library over the next year. The library will be located on Concord Street just south of California Avenue in the Glendale neighborhood of Salt Lake City. The new branch building is approximately 19,000 square feet and was designed by Architectural Nexus. Salt Lake City Mayor Becker was at the ground breaking. The neighborhood is extremely excited for this new branch.
