The renovated facility consisted of 55,500 total square feet, including the addition of a new mechanical room.  The renovation provides for state-of-the-art library service and program areas; galleries; auditorium/theater; meeting rooms; food service; public computer access; technology “maker” spaces; materials handling and storage; traditional and electronic research centers; storage spaces; and outdoor gardens and programming spaces.
