The 96,630 square foot Payson Utah Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints rests on an approximately 14-acre site in Payson, Utah, and will serve nearly 94,000 members. The site features inviting landscaping, plazas, and water features. It is designed in a classical architectural style influenced by the pioneer vernacular architecture of the area. Exterior expression is executed in a highly articulated architectural precast concrete cladding in a warm color tone evocative of historically used native stone and masonry. The apple blossom and leafy vine imagery, complementing the local agricultural tradition, is expressed in the art glass windows and in backlit ceilings throughout the building.
