Located at Jackson Hole Airport, Hangar 3 is a new 39,000-square-foot general aviation facility designed to support aircraft storage and airport operations. The three-bay hangar provides approximately 100-by-100-foot bays with 23-foot clear door heights, accommodating a range of general aviation aircraft while maximizing the airport’s limited available space.

Designed with durability, efficiency, and environmental responsibility in mind, the facility incorporates high-performance building systems intended to significantly reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions compared to similar aviation facilities. The project also included a dedicated Ground Support Equipment (GSE) building, providing additional operational support for the airport. Construction required careful coordination within an active aviation environment and the unique setting of Jackson Hole Airport, which is located within Grand Teton National Park.
