Syracuse LDS Temple : Open House
On May 10, 2025, the Syracuse Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints opened its doors to the public for a special open house event. Visitors from across the region had the opportunity to tour the newly completed temple and experience its peaceful and sacred atmosphere. The open house ran through May 31, offering community members a glimpse inside one of the Church’s most significant places of worship before its formal dedication.
The Syracuse Utah Temple stands as a testament to the growth and faith of the Latter-day Saint community in Davis County. Announced in April 2020 by President Russell M. Nelson, the temple is the Church's 22nd in Utah and the third in Davis County, joining the Bountiful and Layton temples.
Situated on a 12-acre site at 1098 S. 2500 West in Syracuse, the three-story, 89,000-square-foot temple features design elements inspired by the local landscape, including art glass with hues reflecting the nearby Great Salt Lake and wetlands.
The public open house provided an opportunity for individuals of all backgrounds to tour the temple and learn about its significance. Reservations were recommended and could be made online. The tours offered insights into the purpose of temples and the sacred ordinances performed within.
Wadman Corporation is honored to have contributed to the construction of the Syracuse Utah Temple, supporting the Church's mission to bring temples closer to its members and communities.
